This may be a dumb question but when we are talking of 12% increase in global trade in a year of so many geopolitical issues, just for my understanding, are we accounting for cases of China selling to say Vietnam or XYZ because said country is able to export to USA @15% maybe instead of 50%.
While I figure the system is accounting for things like gross value add in normal circumstances to avoid double counting, these are cases where all parties are probably trying to obfuscate data. So is it possible this may account for some of the said growth?
