In your essay "Watan hain Hindustan hamara" you have quoted a paragraph from Nehru's response to Iqbal on nationalism. You begin it with a comment "It is a fascinating blend of idealism and naïveté which characterised the man". You have not elaborated anywhere in the rest of the essay why you thought it was naïve on part of Nehru to have said what he did. In fact, your own conclusion seems to be diametrically opposite to what you have said about Nehru just before quoting him. Going by how things have unfolded in the current decade it shows what a great analytical and foresightful mind Nehru had and how absolutely right he was in his analysis in the response he sent to Mohammed Iqbal.
I feel very distressed by Hindi imposition. I have seen my Tamil/Bengali/Marathi/Telugu/Malayalam/many-more friends getting weak at their mother tongue (by not being able to write/read) due to Hindi in CBSE/ICSE syllabus. Hindi is killing other national languages.
I have now stopped talking in Hindi even though I can. I insist on English as the language wherever the system listens to me.
