When a government prints money out of thin air, it has effectively stolen a little bit from everybody who is holding wealth in that government's currency. Unfair, but understood.
After printing the money, to whom does the government 'give' this money? How can the government give off this money just like that? Or does the government 'lend' (not give) this stolen-free-money? I never understood this part.
I agree with most of the article written by RSJ on VC-money-unicorn-mania-mess.
But, I am not sure I understood the need of the Government coming into this mess.
